Meet Cayse Shirley
MS, LMSW

Cayse is a Licensed Master Social Worker who is passionate about personally connecting with her clients to empower them to improve their mental well-being. She enjoys working with clients of all ages and struggles, including depression, anxiety, self-harm, trauma, and substance dependency. She believes that each individual is unique, which means that treating each client according to their needs, abilities, and personality is essential. She develops a therapeutic approach that builds on the strengths that each individual possesses and supports clients as they navigate the challenges of life.

She earned her bachelor's degree from Texas A&M, a Master's in Elementary Education from Stephen F. Austin University, and a Master's in Social Work from Louisiana State University. Before entering the Mental Health field, Cayse had a career in education, teaching Kindergarten, Second grade, and homeschooling multiple grade levels. She has extensive experience with ADHD, Autism, and other behavioral challenges. She loves helping both clients and parents develop the skills necessary to improve daily functioning at home, school, and community. Cayse has knowledge and education to help parents support needs specific to their child and family situation. She often utilizes play, crafts, and art to develop a meaningful therapeutic relationship, teach, and reinforce the objectives of each client's personalized treatment plan.
